At the beginning of 2023, DB Cargo Romania (Deutsche Bahn Cargo Romania) expanded its fleet with three additional TransMontana locomotives, bringing its total fleet to 26 brand-new asynchronous locomotives produced by Softronic.

CONSTANTIN GRUP officially became Softronic’s 11th client in September 2022, when it signed a contract to acquire 2+2 TransMontana v3.1 locomotives.
The first locomotive delivered, TM 069, has entered commercial service as of last week.
LTE Signs Framework Contract for 5 TransMontana v3.2 Locomotives
In August 2022, LTE Logistics & Transport Austria signed a framework contract with Softronic Craiova to acquire five TransMontana v3.2 locomotives, which will be equipped with ETCS systems supplied by Thales Group.
A Record Year for Softronic Craiova
In 2022, Softronic’s factory rolled out 10 TransMontana v3.1 locomotives, while United Railways Bulgaria and CONSTANTIN GRUP became the 10th and 11th clients to operate Craiova-produced locomotives.
