From the Black Sea port to beyond the Arctic Circle, the TransMontana journey continues!
The ability of TransMontana (Mb) locomotives to operate under extreme climatic conditions, at temperatures as low as -40°C or even lower, combined with their six-axle traction efficiency, has led Green Cargo to initiate the authorization procedures in Norway. The company has now begun simulation tests for certification.
The month of October has been dedicated to testing in compliance with Norwegian railway requirements, and in November, two Green Cargo Mb locomotives will cross into Norway to fulfill the necessary requirements for the start of commercial freight operations for the Swedish state railway operator.
