TransMontana Locomotives 065 & 066 Acquired for DB Cargo Romania

DB Cargo Romania strengthens its position as Softronic’s most important client for TransMontana locomotives in the private freight railway operator (OTF) market in Romania, by acquiring the latest asynchronous traction rolling stock units, 065 & 066.

With the addition of TM 065 and 066, the DB Cargo Romania fleet now totals 23 new locomotives purchased from Softronic. While the exact index of locomotives is still pending, it is estimated that 23 units have been acquired to date.

TransMontana 065 & 066 completed their first tests for onboard devices and equipment in the engine room on Friday, running on the Cernele – Filiași route and back. The test results were a real success.
