Softronic has reached an important milestone with the delivery of 481-018 "Ecaterina Teodoroiu" and 481-019 "Hariclea Darclée", completing a 19-locomotive modernisation programme for CFR Călători.
Today, Softronic hosted a special event in Craiova to mark the successful completion of the modernization of 19 electric locomotives, one of the most significant railway fleet renewal programs carried out in Romania in recent years.
Recently, northern Sweden witnessed the inauguration of a new railway connection of strategic importance for the development of industry and sustainable freight transport in the region. At the center of this milestone was a Green Cargo locomotive manufactured by Softronic in Craiova, selected to perform the inaugural run on the new industrial railway linking Stegra and Boden Industrial Park to the Ore Line.
We are delighted to announce the delivery of Transmontana locomotive no. 092 to RS Lease Slovakia, marking the first milestone in a two-locomotive contract signed between our companies in the summer of 2025.
