In 2024, Softronic marks a quarter-century of activity, continuing Craiova’s tradition in electric locomotive manufacturing.

At the 14th edition of InnoTrans, the world’s largest railway trade fair, we are announcing the upcoming delivery of six new locomotives to railway operators in Romania and Hungary.

Vest Trans Rail has recently acquired its third TransMontana v3.1 locomotive from Softronic Craiova, certified under NNTR for commercial freight service in Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary.

The new client of Softronic, PSP Cargo Romania, has acquired the TransMontana 080 locomotive.
