DB Cargo Romania strengthens its position as one of Softronic’s most important clients in Romania.

Softronic Craiova is delivering TransMontana locomotives 076 (Mb 4019) and 077 (Mb 4020) to Sweden.

TransMontana 075 is the latest locomotive produced and now active in circulation, assigned to the private freight railway operator VTR (Vest Trans Rails).

SOFTRONIC will begin testing the first TransMontana v3.2 locomotive equipped with ETCS Thales.

The LEMA locomotive (Electric Locomotive with Asynchronous Motors), known as TransMontana V3.1 and V3.2, has received the "CE" examination certificate in accordance with the Technical Specification for Interoperability (TSI) – Regulation (EU) 2016/919 of the Commission of May 27, 2016

Constantin Grup is now receiving TransMontana TM 074 from SOFTRONIC, after the locomotive successfully passed both static and route tests.

DB Cargo Romania acquires from Softronic Craiova the TransMontana 480-070, 480-072, and 480-073 locomotives.

At the beginning of 2023, DB Cargo Romania (Deutsche Bahn Cargo Romania) expanded its fleet with three additional TransMontana locomotives, bringing its total fleet to 26 brand-new asynchronous locomotives produced by Softronic.

The TRANSMONTANA locomotives, TM 067 (Mb 4017) and TM 068 (Mb 4018), have successfully completed endurance tests over a total distance of 890 km, covering the Cernele – Craiova – Bucharest Băneasa – Constanța route and back.

From the Black Sea port to beyond the Arctic Circle, the TransMontana journey continues!
